Monochromatic Spaces

These types of risks zone can be decreased using textile fabric high visibility or retroreflective tapes. First of all, to make sure the operator is seen during the day and the tapes so they can be seen when the light reflects on them.

The cement plants would be one of the sectors where is essential the application of the norm EN ISO 20471.

Their gray areas through their surroundings and the extensive transit movement in the facilities requires that the staff should be seen by the drivers of the vehicles.

In the case of foundries, although not always are vehicles circulating in the work areas, it is recommended to use the retroreflective tapes so the staff can be distinguished in the darkness in these types of areas.

High-strength fabrics in monochrome spaces serves operators to be seen during the day . And the retroreflective tapes so that they are seen when the light is reflected on them.

Marina Textil determine as monochromatic area a combination of the same scale of colors with the different shades within an environment or surrounding.

In a cement plant for example it has an environment with a very wide scale of grays.

We should use for garments and clothing, colors that contrast the actual environment as well as using fabric textile high visibility and retroreflective tapes as established in the norm EN ISO 20471

Within this norm there are three categories depending on the visibility required needs.

From category 1 which could be achieved only with the incorporation of tri band tapes or category 3 in which practically the entire garment surface (both jacket and pants).

Would be fabric textile high visibility combined with retroreflective tapes distributed along the garment in the conditions or requirements that stipulates the norm.
