Marko® is a multinorm fabric, permanently fire resistant, designed to protect against electric arc (IEC 61482-2 + ASTM F1959), fire (EN 11612), welding (EN 11611) and static electricity (EN 1149).
All of these properties are tested an certified according to the EN ISO European standards, and in the case of electric arc, for the American ASTM levels as well (Marko obtained excellent results when presented with ASTM F1959 electric arc, with good ATPV or EBT levels relative to weight).
This technical collection is designed to meet the needs of multiple industrial sectors, combining high protection levels with outstanding comfort. Flame resistance and antistatic performance are key characteristics across the range, ensuring reliable protection in demanding working environments.
Offering a high level of comfort, this makes Marko an excellent fabric for PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment), ideal for outfittingfirefighters, police and security forces, as well as petrochemical, electric, gas, welding and chemical workers. In addition, its modacrylic-, cotton- and anti static fibre composition guarantees the properties of this technical fabric throughout the useful life of the garment.
It is available in woven and knit fabrics and is certified under the European EN ISO standards (ISO 11612, EN 20471, EN 61482-1-2, EN 11611, EN 13034, etc.), as well as under the American ASTM standards (F1959). This fabric has good results in both home washes (EN 6330) as well as industrial laundries (EN ISO 15797).
The fabric can be laminated, thus making garments that improve outdoor work performance. These fabrics are certified in EN 343.
