From Marina Textil, we will participate in the upcoming edition of the Techtextil fair, the world’s leading fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, which will take place in Frankfurt from April 23 to 26, 2024. We will participate in the fair with a stand located in Hall 11.1, position D70.
With this new edition, there will be multiple occasions on which we have participated in this event, allowing us to be closer to our customers and distributors. But on this occasion, we want to stand out above other collections, the latest novelties that we have included in Marina Textil, the collections of multi-standard fabrics with sustainable and recycled materials.
Smarko, a collection of sustainable fabrics
We are committed to responsible production and the use of ecological materials to minimize environmental impact. From this necessity, the Smarko collection was born, which is the sustainable version of the Marko fabric. Throughout the manufacturing process, our commitment to the environment has been present, and in the development of this collection, we have focused on Tencel and organic cotton fibers, both recognized for their low environmental footprint, in addition to these fibers being known for their comfort and versatility. With very high breathability, soft to the touch, and absorbent, which makes it an excellent option for multi-standard fabric.
Moreover, thanks to the low CO2 emissions during the production process of the smkaro fabrics, we have created a collection of fabrics that significantly reduces the carbon footprint.
Rmarko, a collection of recycled fabrics
Rmarko is our latest collection and it is a multi-standard fabric made with recycled material. The recycling process of this fabric consists of reusing textile leftovers generated throughout the manufacturing process. In addition, the Rmakro fabric is certified with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). This standard not only certifies that the product contains a percentage of recycled materials but also certifies the entire supply chain.
Both collections come from the Marko fabric, retaining its same properties but with advances in different fabrics.
