Marko® is a multi-standard fabric with permanent flame resistance, designed to protect against electric arc (IEC 61482-2+ASTM F1959), heat and flame (EN 11612), welding (EN 11611), and electrostatic discharge (EN 1149).
All these properties have been tested and certified according to European EN ISO standards and, in the case of electric arc protection, also according to American ASTM standards (Marko achieved excellent results when tested under ASTM F1959 electric arc conditions, with strong ATPV or EBT values relative to its weight).
This technical collection has been developed to meet the needs of multiple industrial sectors, combining high levels of protection with exceptional comfort. Among its key features are flame resistance (EN ISO 15025 A and B) and antistatic properties (EN 1149).
It is available inwoven fabricsandknitted fabrics and is certified according to European EN ISO standards (ISO 11612, EN 20471, EN 61482-1-2, EN 11611, EN 13034, etc.), as well as American ASTM standards (F1959). The fabric performs well in both domestic laundering (EN 6330) and industrial washing (EN ISO 15797).
Marko® fabric can also be laminated to manufacture garments that enhance performance in outdoor working environments. These laminated fabrics are certified according to EN 343.
