Alma covers the following standards

Alma is a collection of fire resistant aluminized fabric, permanent and multi-standard. These technical fabrics are designed for protection from radiant heat and molten metal splashes. These properties have been tested and certified according to EN ISO European standards and American ASTM values.

Some of the Alma fabrics laminated with aluminum also stand out due to their anti-static properties (EN1149), thanks to the anti-static threads that comprise them.

These flame retardant fabrics are developed to protect exposed workers against radiant heat sources and to protect against splashes of molten metal, so they are fabrics specially designed for iron foundries, aluminum foundries, zinc smelters, and cement plants. The Alma line is recommended for the preparation of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the form of a jacket and pants.
