We design, manufacture and commercialise protective technical fabric used to produce personal protective equipment (PPEs).
The protective properties of our flame retardant technical fabric are inherent to the fabric, due to the nature of the fibres that form it. We never apply finishing treatments, as these treatments lose their properties with use and washing, and our primary objective is to guarantee protection against risks such as radiant heat, molten metal splashes, electric arc, electrostatic charges, etc. throughout the useful life of the garment.
We manufacture a wide range of fabric types (woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, aluminised laminates) all designed for use in protective workplace garments, with flame retardant, anti-static, anti-acid, high-visibility and electric arc protection factors in mind, among others. In addition, our R+D+I department develops highly comfortable and breathable protective fabrics in order to maximise wearer comfort.
Marina Textil has 3 on-campus technical laboratories for researching and testing new textile materials and fibres, as well as personnel specialised in workplace protection standards. Thanks to this, our fabrics surpass even the most stringent workplace protection standards: ISO EN 20471, ISO EN 11612, ISO EN 11611, ISO EN 61482, NFPA 2112, NFPA 70E…
This know-how allows Marina Textil to gain the trust of both our clients as well as the people who wear our garments.
