Plusmark® is a comfortable fire resistant fabric, also is multi-standard. It’s a inherently fire resistant fabric with very good protection levels according to the European EN ISO 11612 standard. Plusmark® stands out due to its high level of comfort and resistance to traction, tears and wear caused by industrial washes.
The threads in Plusmark fabric use Corespun technology, based on a nucleus of high-resistance polyamide (core filaments) and covered with modacrylic and cotton textile fibres (covering fibres). This highly resistant structure prevents moisture from entering the thread nucleus and promotes rapid drying, which helps sweat evaporate and promotes breathability.
Plusmark, comfotable fire resistant fabric, is available both in both a lightweight version for production of shirts as well as a heavyweight version for production of winter coats. It is comprised of a mix of cotton (38% non-treated Giza Egyptian cotton), modacrylic (modified), anti-static fibres and other synthetic fibres in order to provide extra resistance. This combination grant the fabric a longer useful life that most current multi-standard fireproof fabrics without losing its properties during wash cycles (both in home washes (EN ISO 15797) and industrial laundries (EN 6330).
